I wanted to feature all the new stamps we have at our on-line store. We got a JustRite order and I made these two cards. Then one of our sales reps asked me to teach a class at her company’s trade show in March and i devoted all my time to working on that instead of the other new stamps. Be sure to check out what we got at the store www.stampexpressstore.com. And, maybe I’ll give you a sneak peak next week of the projects we are doing with the new Irogetin pencils from Tombow. One of the classes at the trade show will be focusing on these.
For my mom’s birthday in March, I made a spring-like card with flowers and a saying about flowers. I used the circle cut-out card from Stamp Express, paper from BoBunny, dies from Spellbinders, Copic markers, Martha Stewart punch, and of course stamps from JustRite.
The kid’s birthday card is sooo cute with animal print paper from BoBunny, stamps from JustRite Copic markers, Stamp Express quality cardstock, Martha Stewart punch and buttons from my stash. I hope you enjoy these.

Celebrate Kids

Flower Circle Card
My sister was born on Valentine’s Day. So, a heartfelt wish with a heart cupcake is in order. I used the Stamp Express circle cut-out card in pink and some heart designer paper. Then I added a cupcake stamped from Hero Arts and colored with Copic markers. Some beads for sprinkles completed the cake. Then i mounted it on a Nesties circle from Spellbinders. For embellishment there is lace from a Martha Stewart punch. ribbon from May Arts and sentiment from Hero Arts. The basic cardstock for this and the next card are the quality cardstock from Stamp Express.
The blue card also features a Hero Arts cupcake, May Arts ribbon, Martha Stewart punch, Art Institute glitter, and designer paper from Colorbok. Layers are cut with oval Nesties from Spellbinder.

February Birthday Card #1

Birthday Card #2
The new double-sided papers for fall and winter arrived from BoBunny. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. So I’m rushing the season, but here’s a card for my son’s fall birthday. I’ve noticed that everyone is combining printed decorator papers. I used two different designs on this card. Then I embellished with Stamp Express quality cardstocks in three colors. The half scalloped circle is a Nestie cut in half. I don’t know whose stamp this is. It’s old and may be Inkadinkadoo. The hardest part of the whole card was threading the embroidery floss through the buttons. But, you can’t have naked buttons! I colored the stamped image with Copic markers to match the papers. The NEW BoBunny papers are now available on our website (www.stampexpressstore.com)

Fall Colors Birthday Card
When you want something different, try a swing or telescoping card. Cut three identical shapes and place a different message on each one. Then join them together with brads or eyelets so that they can swing together on top of each other or open up to reveal all the messages at once. This one has a birthday theme. Stamps are from JustRite, Printworks, and the Stamp Barn. The cardstock is Stamp Express quality cardstock, the coloring was done with Copic markers, and the brads and ribbon are from my stash. A photo could be adhered to one of the circles and then the bottom layer glued to a scrapbook page for an added feature in a memory album. My circles were cut with Nestabilities. All materials are available at stampexpressstore.com.

I was so excited to use the NEW BoBunny designer paper with the patriotic theme. I made a birthday card for my brother-in-law with a masculine look. I used Navy quality cardstock for the card base. The layer is the designer paper from BoBunny. I cut the pennants myself and stamped with an alphabet set from Impression Obsession. ( make a pattern for the pennant so they all come out the same.) After stringing the penants across the top of the card, I added a layered sailboat image from JustRite. This was colored with Copic markers and cut out with Nestabilities. To finish it off I handcut photo corners layered and accented with a blue button. Inside I put a white piece of cardstock with Happy Birthday and some seagulls all in blue ink. I hope he enjoys it!
